Úbeda will once again become a focal point for national current affairs on 5 November with a special edition of Hora 25, Spain’s leading radio news and current affairs programme, hosted by José Luis Sastre. The broadcast will take place live from the Hospital de Santiago Auditorium from 8:00 PM onwards.
Radio Úbeda will host the iconic Hora 25 programme from Cadena SER, which recently launched its new season under the direction of José Luis Sastre. The programme returns to Úbeda to place the city firmly in the national spotlight through one of the most prestigious and widely listened-to shows in Spanish radio.
The broadcast forms part of the programme of events for the 13th Jaén First Olive Oil Festival, a flagship event organized by the Jaén Provincial Council to celebrate the arrival of the season’s first extra virgin olive oils and to promote the excellence of Jaén’s olive oil sector. Over several days, Úbeda will become a meeting point for producers, institutions, industry professionals, visitors and media representatives from across Spain, further cementing its role as a showcase for olive oil heritage, gastronomy and culture. In this context, the presence of one of Spain’s most influential radio news programmes will help project the image of both the city and the province on a national scale.
The participation of José Luis Sastre and the entire Hora 25 team represents an excellent opportunity to highlight Úbeda, its heritage, its social fabric and its ability to host major events linked to communication and culture. It will also give listeners the chance to enjoy a unique live experience alongside the professionals who analyse Spain’s political, economic and social affairs every evening.
At Radio Úbeda and Multimedia Jiennense, we remain committed to bringing radio closer to the community and promoting initiatives that strengthen the role of the media as tools for information, participation and social cohesion.
We encourage our listeners, clients, partners and followers to take part in this important radio event for the city and local broadcasting, enjoying a special edition of Hora 25 that will make Úbeda the information capital of Spanish radio for one evening.
